Depressed

You never have to worry about whether or not Jesus was truly human and fully God.

This passage proves that he was both. He’s just a heroes welcome and parade when entering the city of Jerusalem. Everyone was cheering, it was a pretty exciting day, huh? you would think that after a day like that Jesus would be rushing off to an after party or to meet all the people, right?

Well the wasn't what happened. In fact Jesus was sad and he was crying! (not happy tears either). Jesus' heavy heart proves that he was human and had human emotions.

Jesus was upset because he knew what the future held for him- in a few days the same crowd that was celebrating today would be watching him be crucified on a cross.

As a teen it's comforting to know that even Jesus cried sometimes. your savior knows all about your crazy emotions! Jesus had other emotional moments too~like when Lazarus died (John 11:33-35).

So next time your feeling emotional or teary-eyed try talking to Jesus first because he actually does understand how you’re feeling.

Psalm 34:18

The Lord  is close to the broken hearted. And he saves those whos spirits have been crushed.

He made our hearts and understands everything  we do. ~Psalm 32:15

Deuteronomy 31:18

the Lord himsel goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you; do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Romans 5:5

And this hope will never didapoint us because God poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us.

Isaiah 49:13-14

Shout for joy all you heavens;  rejoice earth;  Burst into song, o you mountains!   For the Lord Comforts his people and he will have compassion on his afflicted ones.  But, Zion said "The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me."
